Round trip from Barreirinhas to Santo Amaro
Embark on a day trip to explore the stunning lagoons and dunes of Santo Amaro, in the heart of the Lençóis Maranhenses, departing from Barreirinhas.

Tour made in 4x4 vehicles
Boarding begins at 8:00 a.m. Once everyone is boarded, we head to Santo Amaro. It's a 1:30-hour drive to Santo Amaro! Arriving in Santo Amaro, we stop at the restaurant to reserve lunch.
We then head to the first lagoon for a short 10- to 15-minute 4x4 rally over the dunes, visiting the best lagoons of the season. Then, we head to the Betânia circuit and continue our 4x4 rally over the dunes, lasting an average of 20 minutes, to the next lagoon (visiting the best lagoons of the season). Lunch is usually in the village of Betânia around 12:30 or 1:00 p.m. After lunch, we rest a bit and continue the tour to visit the remaining lagoons and wait for the sunset. We then return to Barreirinhas, arriving around 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
